COST: Regular tuition $400; Scholarship rate $325 (when available)
5 Mondays, October 28 through November 25, 2019, 6:30pm-8:30pm
COURSE DESCRIPTION: So, how do I use NVC in my day to day life? How can I work with my “unreasonable” boss? Why doesn’t my spouse just get it? What do I do when I can see a conversation is going south?
Bring your real life situations, and we will apply the NVC principles, consciousness and tools. Learn from your own situations and from those of classmates. We’ll use empathy, role plays, learning specific skills, and healing – along with laughter and tears!
TO REGISTER: Call Meganwind Eoyang at 707-775-7178 with the start date & title of class, your name, phone/s, and make payment by phone. Location and directions will be sent about a week before the first class.
PRE-REQUISITES: a minimum of a 2-hour Introduction to NVC, or reading the first 8 chapters of Marshall Rosenberg’s book, Nonviolent Communication, a Language of Life is necessary to participate in this practice group.
Meganwind Eoyang came to the study of Nonviolent Communication from a very different world. She grew up street fighting on the south side of Chicago. She was excited to discover that Nonviolent Communication offers clear steps for practicing the compassion, self love, and love for others which most spiritual traditions invite us to live. She has been a trainer with Bay Area Nonviolent Communication since 2003.
