This 6-week online course with author and teacher Oren Jay Sofer offers training in his unique, integrated approach to communication. It is specifically designed to support you to discern what’s most authentic and to develop the skill to express yourself openly in ways others can hear. Based on Oren’s book, Say What You Mean, this new course offers concrete tools and practices to bring to your daily life and relationships. With expert guidance from Oren, you’ll learn to:
• Feel more confident during conversations
• Develop skills to say what really matters in any interaction
• Say no and set limits while still expressing your care for others
• Ask for what you want in a way that invites collaboration

About the Teacher:
Oren Jay Sofer is a nationally recognized teacher of meditation, mindfulness and Nonviolent Communication. A member of the Spirit Rock Teachers Council, he holds a degree in Comparative Religion from Columbia University, is the author of Say What You Mean: A Mindful Approach to Nonviolent Communication, and co-author of Teaching Mindfulness to Empower Adolescents. Oren is co-founder of Mindful Healthcare and the founder of Next Step Dharma, an innovative online program that helps meditators integrate their retreat experiences into daily life.
