Say What You Mean: A Mindful Communication Daylongwith Oren Jay Sofer

Join Oren for a day of practicing Mindful Communication. The day will include insightful summaries of the main aspects of Mindful Communication, role plays, guided reflection, and ample time for Q&A.

Recommended Pre-requisite: This is not an introductory workshop; some experience with Nonviolent Communication. Oren’s Mindful Communication Foundations course, a Wise Speech retreat, introductory NVC series, or equivalent is strongly recommended.

About the Instructor 

Oren Jay Sofer is a Collaborative Trainer with BayNVC and teaches communication and meditation both locally and nationally. He has practiced Buddhist meditation since 1997, holds a degree in Comparative Religion from Columbia University, and is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner for healing trauma. Oren is also a member of the Spirit Rock Teachers’ Council, founder of Next Step Dharma, and the author of Say What You Mean: A Mindful Approach to Nonviolent Communication. www.OrenJaySofer.com
